End of Year Party - December 2010 - 18+ ONLY

Hi all,

I know it's early days and you're probably not even thinking about it yet, but we thought that it'd be a good idea to get in early.

We are looking to hold an end of year party at the Frinebar in Paddington. We'll be hiring out one of the rooms for the night and our in house DJ Matty J will be laying down some awesome mixes. The bar will be open and we have the option of either paying drink packages and having everyone pay these via cash, bank deposit or paypal prior to the event or we can run a cash bar where you pay for what you drink.

We'll kick off around 9pm but we need to get number now to determine which room we're going to take. Please vote in the poll either Attending or Not Attending and post your comments below whether you'd prefer open bar or a pay per drink system. Friends are welcome but this event will be first in, first served as usual.

We can basically pay

-$34 per head for unlimited soft drink, basic wines and local beers or pay as we go for anything at the bar charged on a per person basis...

I think that the cash bar is a better idea, that way people who do not wish to drink don't have to pay anything.

I like the drinks package better... Plus people who rnt drinkin will have the unlimited soft drink. Makes it a bit easier to plan cash wise...

Fringe Bar is sick.
As far as pricing I know their cheapest beer is a $5 special with rotating brands. Sooo if you think you'll drink more then 6 the package would be a go.

im definetly in but i gotta no the actual date asap,, coz i might be leaving town in december sometime,, cant wait,, and drink package sounds like they way 2 go if you any more then 6 drinks into you is a bonus then provided it goes long enough then package is the way

this sounds like a good idea ben, $34 sounds like a good deal to me, and as some others have said, those who don't drink have the soft drink, the $34 is per person so if we want to bring someone, they will have to pay that as well right (that is if we are aloud to bring someone)

Yep this is an open event provided payment is made prior to the event. We'll be requesting payment be made at least a month before we go ahead just so we can get the money to the hotel.

We're going to have to change it to a Thursday night due to Friday and Saturday nights not being available for hire... So with this notice hopefully everyone can get a day off for the Friday hangover.

Hmm, i would roll you down Caxton but i think all the Roar supporters would start a fight with me. I really shouldnt of sat in amongst the Orange Army singing Melbourne Victory chants.
